Podman Desktop 1.11: New light mode, Apple Silicon support & enhanced Kubernetes features

Podman Desktop has launched version 1.11, featuring several notable enhancements and bug fixes. A key highlight is the introduction of an experimental light mode, a highly requested feature now available in the settings. This update also includes Rosetta support for Apple Silicon, enabling the building of AMD64 binaries at speeds comparable to ARM64 binaries.

Kubernetes users will benefit from new Node and Volume pages, an improved user interface with updates to the container listing page, and enhanced manifest support, with images built as a manifest now grouped together. The release also includes various other improvements and numerous bug fixes.
