Opera One R2 brings enhanced multimedia controls, split screen, and AI image generation
Opera has announced the release of Opera One R2 in its developer stream, a year after launching Opera One. This reimagined and updated version of the web browser is set for mainstream release later this year. Opera One R2 enhances multimedia management, allowing users to control music and videos without interrupting browsing and offering a floating module for videos.
The update introduces new dynamic themes with sound elements for an immersive experience. Aria, Opera's native AI, gains new capabilities, including Image Generation, Voice Output, and Page Context for summarizing and translating content. Other features include Split Screen for parallel tab viewing, a visual trace for tracking recently used tabs, and Tab Emojis for personalized tab management.
