Web browser Dillo releases v3.1.0 with new features and improvements after 9 years hiatus
Dillo, a fast and small graphical web browser, has unveiled its version 3.1.0, marking the first release in nine years since version 3.0.5 in 2015. The Dillo project experienced a hiatus following the death of the main layout engine developer, Sebastian Geerken, in 2016. The team ceased development in 2017 and subsequently lost access to the dillo.org domain in 2022.
A resurrection effort for the project was initiated by Rodrigo Arias Mallo in 2024, leading to a transition to a new domain name. The recent release of Dillo 3.1.0 encapsulates a multitude of changes from the 2015-2017 period, along with fixes and minor features introduced in 2024.
Key enhancements in this release include the addition of support for floating HTML elements and automatic HTML rendering tests. The update also introduces support for OpenSSL, LibreSSL, and Mbed TLS for HTTPS, which will be enabled by default. The inclusion of a CI pipeline allows for the building of Dillo on various operating systems, including Ubuntu, macOS, FreeBSD, and Windows (via Cygwin).
Additionally, the Dillo manual has also seen improvements and expansions as part of this update, providing users with comprehensive guidance on using the browser's features.

Super nifty and helpful comprehensive list!
Thank you. I will test the ones I don't know. Until now, my favorite is Tagpacker. I used Delicious, Diigo and Annatory, but Diigo is too expensive and restricted now in its free version, Annatory and Diigo are discontinued. The only thing that is missing in Tagpacker, is a way to highlight and annote parts of the page.
