Superlist 1.7 update brings natural language processing for seamless task management
Superlist, the task management app developed by the original Wunderlist creators, has rolled out a significant update with version 1.7, introducing natural language processing (NLP). This new feature allows users to type due dates directly in task titles, which the app will automatically convert into the appropriate due date.
NLP functionality is integrated across the desktop quick command, task input field in the Inbox and Today tab, and all other task title fields. Users can enter simple terms like “today”, numerical dates such as “05/06/2024”, or more complex patterns like “every two weeks on Monday”. A popover will appear with date suggestions once the text is typed.
This update follows several feature-rich updates over the past few months, including task movement capabilities, Markdown support in headings, speed improvements, enhanced search, landscape mode for tablets, task reordering in the inbox, and offline task access.
