Mixxx 2.4.1 released with enhanced support for a wider range of devices, and more
Mixxx, the open source DJ software compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux, has launched its 2.4.1 version. The update brings with it enhanced support for a wider range of devices and a host of other improvements.
Key among these enhancements is the improved controller mappings for a variety of devices. The updated list includes Behringer DDM4000 & BCR2000, Denon DJ MC6000MK2, Denon DJ MC7000, Hercules Inpulse 200, Pioneer DDJ-FLX4, Traktor Kontrol F1, Traktor S2 Mk1, Traktor S3, and Controller I/O table.
The 2.4.1 version of Mixxx now consistently opts for the OpenGL framework on macOS, addressing and rectifying various minor build issues. Additional updates include the display of track count and duration of History playlists. The new version also prevents the removal of tracks from locked playlists, and it has been further enhanced with the introduction of new skins and updates to existing ones. Lastly, the 2.4.1 version also includes several other minor enhancements and bug fixes that are detailed in the release notes.
