Calibre 7.6 released with new 'Profiles' feature, expanded support, and more

Calibre, the renowned free and open source e-book management software, has launched its 7.6 version. A significant enhancement in this latest version is the ability of the e-book viewer to save current settings in 'profiles'. These profiles can be easily interchanged, and can be created or switched by accessing 'Profiles' from the viewer controls or by pressing the Alt+P shortcut.

Furthermore, Calibre 7.6 introduces a new keyboard shortcut for merging selected files while editing a book, along with a new toolbar button that displays all possible actions in sub menus. The software now also allows for the simultaneous selection and editing of multiple books, with each selected book opening in a separate editor instance.

In addition, Calibre 7.6 has expanded its support to include Amazon Mexico and has added and improved several news sources. The latest version also encompasses various other changes and bug fixes.
