Proton is bringing its password manager to enterprises with Proton Pass for Business

Swiss company Proton, known for its privacy-focused suite of products, has launched a new enterprise security tool, Proton Pass for Business. This tool enables the creation of an encrypted vault for storing and managing an organization's login details, bank cards, and secure notes.

Proton Pass not only encrypts passwords, but also metadata such as usernames and web addresses. In line with Proton's other applications, Pass is open source and subject to regular third-party audits.

Being a Swiss-based company, Proton operates outside of US and EU jurisdiction, offering users the privacy laws and neutrality enjoyed by Swiss companies. All data is stored on Proton's own infrastructure in Europe.

For a limited time, Proton is offering a 50% discount on Proton Pass for Business, with prices starting at $1.99 per user, per month. Companies availing of this launch offer will secure this price indefinitely.

Proton has announced they have many new features to Proton Pass in the works and an “aggressive roadmap for 2024”.
