Webflow unveils major pricing changes, introducing new seat types and phasing out features

Webflow, the widely-used website building platform, has announced significant updates to its pricing and product strategy. The updates include the separation of users from Workspace plans, eliminating user limits and allowing organizations to scale without restrictions. Webflow is introducing three new seat types — full, limited, and free — to provide flexibility and efficiency in access levels for team members. Freelancer and Agency guest access remains unchanged.

Additionally, Webflow is reassigning features across Workspace and Site plans to help users select the most suitable plan for their needs. The platform will gradually phase out the legacy Editor and Editor users by the end of 2025, replacing them with client seats. This new feature offers clients secure, limited access to specific sites in a Freelancer or Agency Workspace, enabling them to use edit mode and view analytics without full Workspace access.

Webflow will also deprecate its native Logic and User Accounts, shifting towards an ecosystem of vetted app partners. Logic will be unavailable after June 27, 2025, with recommended partners like Zapier and Make. User Accounts will cease on January 29, 2026, with suggested alternatives including Outseta and Memberstack.

User reactions on social media have been mixed, with many expressing confusion over the frequent changes in Webflow's pricing structure.
