Tuba 0.9 brings many new features and enhancements for browsing the Fediverse on Linux
Tuba, a Linux application designed for navigating the Fediverse, has launched its latest update, version 0.9.0. This release introduces several new features, including an audio visualizer and accent colors in line with GNOME 47 updates. Users can now access a focus picker, receive account suggestions for new accounts, and utilize options for scheduled and draft posts. The update also enables hashtag extraction from posts and provides full emoji reaction support for compatible backends.
Version 0.9.0 also includes FediWrapped and thread muting, along with a feature to see which of your followers also follow a particular account. The update introduces opt-in anonymous preference popularity analytics and enhances user experience for profile posts, replies, and media filters. Search results now highlight bold queries, and verified authors are indicated.
Additional features include poll animations, a warning when copying links to private posts, and the option to place favorite lists in the sidebar. The update also addresses various bug fixes and accessibility improvements.
