ScyllaDB is moving to a source available license

ScyllaDB is consolidating its efforts to focus solely on ScyllaDB Enterprise, starting with the upcoming 2025.1 release. The company will transition from closed source to source available, with ScyllaDB OSS AGPL 6.2 marking the last open-source version. Scylla Manager moves to AGPL, and the closed source Kubernetes multi-region operator will be merged with the main Apache-licensed ScyllaDB Kubernetes operator. A free tier of ScyllaDB Enterprise, featuring all the advanced capabilities previously exclusive to the enterprise version, will now be accessible to the community.
