Multiplicity 4 released with Seamless Display, support for ARM devices, and much more
Stardock has unveiled Multiplicity 4, the latest iteration of its application designed for controlling multiple PCs with a single mouse and keyboard. Multiplicity 4 is powered by ControlStream v4 technology, enabling multi-monitor configurations to be streamed to a primary device within a single viewing window. The application offers advanced compression technology, allowing users to maintain full fidelity or optimize for bandwidth preservation with a single setting adjustment.
The new Seamless Display feature allows Windows laptops and other PCs to function as native secondary displays. This enhancement supports resolution-aware monitor placement, providing improved precision when moving across devices and displays.
All features of Multiplicity 4 are compatible with Windows 11 on ARM, except for using a Windows 11 on ARM PC as the primary device with Seamless Display, which is expected in a future update. The update also includes higher bitrate support for audio streaming from remote devices, AES-256 encryption for file and monitor streaming, IPV6 support, and options for easy backup, restore, and reset of settings.
