Calibre 7.23 brings improved content server, book cover preview, and enhanced tag browser

Calibre has released version 7.23 of its ebook management software, bringing several enhancements and bug fixes. The update features improved content server functionality, allowing users to manage data files associated with a book via a new option in the book's page menu. The edit metadata dialog now supports right-clicking on a book cover to view it in a larger popup window. Additionally, the tag browser tree can now expand to show the item that was current when the library was last closed.

Version 7.23 introduces options for importing and exporting stored templates within preferences and template functions. It also includes quality-of-life improvements for editing columns with fixed sets of values and resolves doi.org links when pasting identifiers. Furthermore, the update addresses a couple of bugs, and adds and enhances various news sources.
