Raycast unveils enhanced Raycast Notes with Markdown support and AI-powered grammar check

Raycast has announced the evolution of its Floating Notes feature into Raycast Notes, offering macOS users an enhanced note-taking experience. This update retains the speed and simplicity of Floating Notes but introduces new capabilities for improved workflow management. Users can now format notes using Markdown, a Format Bar, or keyboard shortcuts, and export notes in plain text, Markdown, or HTML formats — ideal for drafting emails or blog posts.

The updated Raycast Notes offers five free notes, with an option for unlimited notes through a Pro subscription. Integrated deeply into the Raycast ecosystem, users can create and search notes via root search commands. Additional features include an inline emoji picker and AI Commands for grammar correction. The update also enhances AI Chat / Quick AI functionality and improves the calculator tool.
