Raycast launches Safari extension and enhances Raycast Notes with new functionalities
Raycast, the popular productivity app favored by Mac power users, has released version 1.86. This update extends its browser extension compatibility to Safari, in addition to existing support for Chromium-based browsers.
Version 1.86 introduces a new attachment feature for Raycast Notes and enhances note functionality. Users can now copy notes or selected text in Markdown, HTML, or plain text formats and share them with other applications like Apple Notes and iMessage. The update includes several usability improvements: closing or unfocusing the window with the escape key, saving navigation history upon restart, toggling between character and word count, and a shortcut for the format bar. It also adds a button for creating new notes from the browser's empty state, increases the menu bar button image size, reorganizes note action panel items, and addresses scrolling issues in the Search Notes command.
The update also provides bug fixes for clipboard history, search menu items, AI commands, and AI chat functionalities.
