Ente Auth 4.0 has been released with secure 2FA code sharing, note addition, and more
Ente has launched version 4.0 of its Auth app, an authenticator tool designed for generating and storing two-step verification (2FA) tokens. This update introduces several new features, including the ability to share specific codes with team members via temporary, end-to-end encrypted links. These links only share pre-computed codes for a chosen duration, keeping the 2FA secret secure on the user's device.
The app now supports adding notes to codes, allowing users to attach up to 500 characters of text for additional account information, with these notes also secured through end-to-end encryption. Users can manage their codes more efficiently with a new trash section, where unwanted codes can be temporarily stored or permanently deleted. Enhanced security is available through a custom lock screen feature that supports PINs and passwords.
Additionally, Ente's command-line interface (CLI) now allows access to Auth data, enabling users to script custom workflows. Auth is also now available on Flathub, expanding its accessibility to more users.

Comments
I like the approach that if you come from a new device and login to the existing accout, that you first have to enter the one-time password sent via mail. Then enter the 2fa password. And after that you enter the password.
