The app transforms smartphones by integrating Blackmagic's digital film camera controls and image processing, enabling users to achieve cinematic visuals akin to those in Hollywood films.

Key updates in version 1.4 include the addition of audio monitoring during recording, support for Bluetooth microphones, and compatibility with Tentacle Sync for timecode synchronization. Users can now choose recording bit rate options for H.264 and H.265 codecs, providing greater flexibility in video quality and file size management.

The update extends support to compatible Oppo devices and Sony Xperia series 1, 5, and Pro-I, broadening device compatibility. Additionally, general performance and stability improvements have been implemented to enhance user experience.
