Inoreader introduces Team Folders for enhanced content management and collaboration
Inoreader, the widely-used RSS feed reader, has just introduced shared folders to its Team plans. The new feature, dubbed Team Folders, serves as a flexible tool for content management and collaboration.
Team Folders function as shared resources, segregating individual feeds from organization-wide resources. They are dynamic in nature, permitting admins to add or remove feeds as needed to ensure relevant content is consistently displayed across all member accounts.
Admins have the ability to create Team Folders and can populate them with feeds in various ways. Team members can simultaneously follow the same feeds in their personal accounts and Team folders, with unread counters synchronizing across both.
However, if a feed is unfollowed from a personal account but remains in a Team folder, it will continue to be visible in the Team folder. Additionally, while rules and filters can be applied to Team folders, their effects are only visible to the individual applying them and will not be seen by other Team members.
Inoreader says in its announcement that they're “confident this new feature will significantly boost productivity for Inoreader Team members in 2024”.
