Audacity introduces new OpenVINO AI effects by Intel for enhanced audio editing on Windows

Audacity, the famous open-source audio editor, recently added new OpenVINO AI effects to its software for Windows users.

OpenVINO, an acronym for Open Visual Inference and Neural network Optimization, is a toolkit created by Intel that allows deep learning models to function locally on Intel hardware, enhancing software capabilities like those of Audacity.

The newly added AI features include Noise Suppression and Transcription, which are valuable tools for podcast creators. Music enthusiasts and creators will find Music Generation, Music Style Remix, and Music Separation effects useful.

To utilize these OpenVINO plugins, users will have to download them from Intel’s specific GitHub page.

For those using Linux and macOS, it's possible to compile the software from its source. However, there are currently no instructions available for this procedure.
