Opera's AI feature Aria is now available for iOS users, expanding reach across all major platforms

Opera has announced that its AI feature, Aria, is now available for all users of the Opera browser for iOS. This development follows the recent launch of Aria for Opera for desktop and Opera for Android, extending its reach across all major platforms including Mac, Windows, Linux, Android, and now iOS.

Aria is the result of a collaboration between Opera and OpenAI, providing a generative AI service at no cost. Opera reports that Aria has already reached over 1 million users and is experiencing “enthusiastic user engagement”.

The AI feature is entirely user-controlled, granting users the autonomy to opt in based on their preference for engaging with AI services. To access Aria, which is available in over 180 countries worldwide including the EU and the US, users must log in using their Opera account.
