Meta unveils new features for Threads app, including access to liked posts, high-quality media uploads and upcoming web version

Meta has introduced new features to its text-based app Threads. Users now have the ability to see posts they've liked by navigating to Settings Your Likes through their profile page. This approach contrasts with Twitter's model, where users can access their likes through a separate "Likes" tab on their profile.

Threads has also added an option to upload media in higher quality, accessible through Settings Account Media quality. Moreover the following list can now be sorted based on 'Latest first' or 'Earlier first' criteria.

Alongside these updates, Mark Zuckerberg has announced that Threads will launch a web version and a search function for posts in the upcoming weeks.
