Major changes for Google Chrome: Download Bar removed from Desktop version, enhanced search features for Mobile
Google has announced significant updates to its Chrome browser for both mobile and desktop platforms.
The mobile version now includes "Trending searches" that pop up when a new tab is opened and the address bar is clicked, keeping users up-to-date with popular searches. Additionally, when typing in the Chrome address bar, users will now receive 10 recommendations instead of the previous six. For Android users, the exclusive feature called Touch to Search will now display related searches in a new category labeled "Related to this page" when a word or phrase is highlighted.
For the Desktop version, the most significant change is the removal of the download bar at the bottom of the screen replaced with a download tray on the top right of the browser. However, this change has not been well received by some users, requesting the return of the old layout. To revert it, users can type chrome://flags/#download-bubble into the address bar, select Disabled, and then restart Chrome.

Download bar removed Lol, looks like they're taking after Firefox and Brave. Honestly surprised it took them this long to change it.
