Kdenlive 23.08 released with two new effects, enhanced stability, and expanded compatibility

Kdenlive 23.08.0, the most recent update of the video editing software, has been launched, bringing along a host of fixes, enhancements, and optimizations. This version introduces two new effects, namely Audio Seam and Auto Fade. These features can be utilized to eradicate audio cracks that may occur with certain clips such as MKV and FLAC.

The update also incorporates a new AV1 NVENC profile and rectifies issues with the Whisper engine, specifically those encountered with Nvidia GTX 16xx series. Additionally, Kdenlive 23.08.0 expands its compatibility to include GoPro .lrv and DJI .lrf files as external proxies.
