Red Hat launches Podman Desktop 1.0: A user-friendly solution for container and Kubernetes management
Red Hat, a leading provider of open source solutions, has announced the general availability of Podman Desktop 1.0. Podman Desktop is a software that provides a user-friendly interface for managing containers and working with Kubernetes from a local machine.
Developed by Red Hat, Podman Desktop has been in development for months. The new version comes with a list of featured extensions in the Welcome, the Dashboard and in Settings Extensions. It also comes with two new extensions supporting OpenShift, the ability to run a Podman machine as root, as well as UX and UI Improvements.
With Podman Desktop, developers can easily manage containers and Kubernetes clusters from their local machine. It provides a simple and intuitive interface that allows users to easily create, run, and manage containers, as well as deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters.
