Raycast launches "Pro" package with ChatGPT for $8 per month

Raycast, the multitasking launcher for Mac, has just released its Pro version with ChatGPT, an AI-powered feature that has been in beta for some time and is now available to everyone. With this new service, users can ask questions to the OpenAI bot directly from the launcher, saving them time and effort.

Raycast explains that ChatGPT is based on the OpenAI APIs presented at the start of the year. Users can chat with the bot, use certain commands such as correcting text or checking code, or even create their own commands. “We use OpenAI's GPT 3 and GPT 3.5-Turbo models as well as some other models,” specifies the FAQ on the website.

However, the AI is not the only novelty of this Pro version. Themes have also been added, with a space offering to download those created by the community. The software will now synchronize between different Macs, allowing users to find their preferences and extensions between their computers. Additionally, it will provide access to unlimited clipboard backup, which can be viewed using a history system.

With these new features, Raycast aims to improve the productivity of Mac users. The company believes that the AI-powered ChatGPT will help users perform tasks more efficiently, while the new themes and synchronization options will allow for a more personalized experience.
