Google Chrome 113: enhanced security and WebGPU support

After four weeks since the previous version, Google Chrome 113 has been released with a host of new features and security fixes. The latest version of the popular web browser comes with 15 security fixes, making it more secure for users.

One of the most exciting additions to Google Chrome 113 is the inclusion of WebGPU support. This new feature allows web pages to display more advanced 3D graphics, making it possible for developers to create more immersive and engaging web experiences. The feature has been in development for several years and is finally available in the latest version of Chrome.

In addition to WebGPU support, Google Chrome 113 also includes a few new CSS features. These make it easier for developers to create more complex and visually appealing web pages.

Another interesting experimental feature included in Chrome 113 is First Party Sets: this is a framework that may be used to declare relationships between domains and it's designed to be used after third-party cookies are phased out.

Google is also testing a new Reader Mode that will be available in Chrome 114. This feature will make it easier for users to read articles and other content online by removing distractions such as ads and other elements that can make it difficult to focus on the content.
