Wine 8.5 has been released with improvements and bug fixes

The popular compatibility layer, Wine, has just released its newest version 8.5. The new version of Wine is a great improvement to its predecessors, offering improved compatibility with Windows applications on various operating systems such as Linux, macOS and BSD.

The bundle vkd3d has been upgraded to version 1.7, and the IDL compiler has better error reporting. There is also support for shared Wow64 Classes registry key, IME support cleanups and support for configuring a WinRT dark theme. Several bug fixes have also been applied.
