Video editor Shotcut 23.11 adds Keyframe easing and NVIDIA AV1 hardware encoder support

Shotcut, the widely used free and open-source video editing software, has unveiled its latest version, 23.11. The new release introduces a significant feature, the addition of easing for keyframes. Users can now apply ease in, ease out, and ease in/out with varying levels of acceleration, along with tricks such as elastic and bounce.

The 23.11 version also expands its support, now incorporating av1_nvenc NVIDIA AV1 hardware encoder for both Windows and Linux operating systems. Accompanying this, the update brings a variety of enhancements to its existing suite of tools, filters, and settings.
