WordPress 6.4 'Shirley' debuts with enhanced creative tools and performance improvements

The latest version of WordPress, 6.4 “Shirley”, named in honor of jazz legend Shirley Horn, has been launched, featuring a host of upgrades designed to enhance the user's creative process.

In this new release, WordPress introduces the 'Twenty Twenty-Four' default theme, which offers versatility for various design needs. The editor has been enhanced, the command palette improved, and custom categories along with advanced filtering have been incorporated into the Patterns section.
