Microsoft Lists is now available to all users on Android, iOS and on the web

Microsoft Lists, the tech giant's task management app, is now available to all users following its initial launch in 2020. Originally, access was restricted to business and enterprise users, with a limited preview offered to consumers last year. Now, anyone with a Microsoft Account can access this free version through iOS and Android apps, as well as on the web.

Microsoft Lists provides users the capacity to create, organize, and share lists across various devices. The app includes pre-designed templates for a variety of tasks including expense tracking, grocery lists, and event itineraries.

A unique feature of Microsoft Lists is its collaborative functionality, enabling users to share lists with friends, family, and colleagues. This allows for multiple contributors to a single list. Users have the option to view lists in a grid-like layout, a calendar view, or a custom layout. For ease of use with other apps and services, Microsoft Lists also includes the ability to export lists to CSV files.

While the app is continuously evolving with new features and improvements anticipated based on user feedback and needs, Microsoft has not yet released any plans for a desktop app or a timeline for when Microsoft Lists will exit the preview phase.
