Le logiciel phare de messagerie

Positive Comment by Daratoft
about Thunderbird Feb 2015

Mozilla neglects Thunderbird

Comment by LAN
about Thunderbird Aug 2014

Thunderbird is a great e-mail program, but unfortunately Mozilla neglects it: it only releases security and stability updates, and only community developes new features.

Decent, but stagnant 1 Helpful

Comment by endolith
about Thunderbird and Google Chrome Jul 2011

Thunderbird is a good app, but it seems to be stagnating. Mozilla is too busy trying to copycat Chrome and not putting any time into fixing TB bugs.

about Thunderbird Jun 2011

I think, today the best E-Mail-Solution with most advantages free of charge is the combination of UNLIMITED AOL Web-Mail Archive (IMAP) with Mozilla Thunderbird as a User Interface, which has nearly all useful features, that the professional commercial product Outlook has.
For detailed Information about 6 disadvantages of Web-GMail compared with Thunderbird or Outlook + AOL mail see: and .
In Addition to this, GMail has the little mistake: GMail filters, which delete mails AND place a label, loose the label: the label is substituted after some days with the empty label "".
