    Explorer++ is faster and consumes much less memory. Files advertises itself as lightweight, but 100MB for displaying a tree structure is not lightweight.

    Files looks closer to modern Windows, but so does Windows Explorer which we are looking to replace.

    Files looks like an "app" which means that I cannot understand if it's the active window or not because it doesn't use accent colors on its title bar.
