    Same uncomplicated and simply working remote desktop application as one day was TeamViewer. And at best: Newer versions can connect to older versions - which TeamViewer always enforced to enforce everybody to upgrade.

    No longer free, 14-day trial, nag screens, and a timer. The licence is still cheaper than TeamViewer though.

    I prefer using AnyDesk on any other screen-sharing tool, because of the seamless screen-sharing without disconnection or refreshing the connection after a certain period of time, Kudos!

    I have been using this app/chrome extension for years now. It just works fine and it's FREE. No fancy tools, just remote single user support, but that's what I need. 100% recommended!

    Like TeamViewer but no features except for chat and file transfer via chat window. If only remote control needed then this will be just fine. Does the basic job very well.

    UltraViewer supports all Windows versions since XP with its latest update. TeamViewer requires you to purchase a license before you can support older versions of Windows, and then you have to download an older version of TeamViewer, not the latest. Also, if you want the paid version of UltraViewer, it costs a lot less than TeamViewer.

    Supports all features of TeamViewer, but with fair license prices and more technical options. i.e. it allows to run your own relay server ("RU Server") in the public internet to connect your "Viewer" with remote PCs (running unattended "Host" or on-demand "Agent") when they are both behind a firewall. (TV always uses its own cloud infrastructure for that purpose)

    Straightforward, effective and lightweight, with less mucking about with usernames and things than Teamviewer. Just what I wanted. If I'm running fullscreen (F12 toggles it) then I feel like I'm just working away on my remote PC. I use it to work from my office laptop using my home desktop setup.

    Has all the features of Teamviewer, but is priced reasonably for commercial use. Hopefully they will keep the pricing that way, because any higher and we will ditch them too. Loved Teamviewer but it was outrageously priced.
