    • Unlike TeamViewer, it's not a centralized solution, dependant on servers owned by some company that might go out of business eventually, and contrary to what some people say, setting up VNC connections isn't complicated at all (inside the same subnet it's trivial, across NAT-ted subnets it only requires some port forwarding, voila, done). TeamViewer-like software should be taken into consideration only by computer-newbies in my opinion.
