I have moved to TemplateToaster from Dreamweaver

about Adobe Dreamweaver Jan 2015

Dreamweaver is still my love, but I give much priority to TemplateToaster because it’s the latest software having so many features. I feel like it has been built for the people like me who are more into designing despite of being front-end coder. And TemplateToaster let me concentrate on designing more than coding.

Dream Weaver is good and so does is its alternative

Comment by Adelina
about Adobe Dreamweaver Dec 2014

Dream Weaver is good. Reduces the code writing for developers. But there is also an alternative for it. TemplateToaster, completely eliminates the requisite of writing code. It does produce the source code ( PHP, HTML,and CSS) itself, and all the very big job for the designer/developer is just to use its options for designing a web template.

about Adobe Dreamweaver and Aptana Studio Jan 2012

Buggy interface. Times out when uploading constantly. (and takes 2 minutes to cancel the upload)

Doesn't parse PHP right and leaves a lot of syntax colouring incorrect.

Useless for PHP. Dreamweaver was great 10 years ago when HTML sufficed and we all used WYSIWYG editors.

I recommend Aptana if you like to have your work uploaded quickly and effortlessly.

Dreamweaver is good for graphic designers that
don't want to get messy with code -
It's good for creating basic sites, but don't get too excited.

Use Aptana or Notepad++.

I use, and love notepad++ but it is in no way a replacement for dreamweaver. Check out Microsoft Expression Web, it is a better alternative in that it is not only a text editor, but also does the WYSIWYG stuff dreamweaver does.
