Wikia Comments

One that isn't on here yet

Comment by olsonpm
about Wikia Jan 2013

I just made a general wiki http://VanillaWiki.com on my own time, and feel it is the best option for those who need to document articles that aren't fit for wikipedia (gaming, recipes, personal things, etc.)

I am still working on it, but for the most part it is complete. Please give it a try and tell me what you think at admin@vanillawiki.com.

Thanks!

Phil

I Prefer Referata, because Wikia is full with ads

about Wikia and Referata Dec 2012

Referata is very similar to Wikipedia. It also uses MediaWiki, equal as Wikipedia does. I do not like Wikia, because it is full with ads, whereas Referata is free of ads. It is also very easy to copy text from Wikipedia to Referata and vice versa, because both use the same syntax.
