Mediamonkey is a MEDIA manager with a built in MEDIA player. Clementine is a MUSIC manager / player. Mediamonkey manages both VIDEO and AUDIO and isn't just a MUSIC player.
6Is the most complete audio player you can get on linux (at least at the moment), all other audio players aren't as complete as this one is or are based on it and are not as complete as clementine.
1ipod and usb devices don't work.
0On my Mac (late 2013) Clementine does not easily rip CDs from an external drive. It loses Album Artist information. It does not read .aiff files. I don't know what else it can't do, because those functions are so basic I refuse to dig deeper.
