Useful terminal with the following features:

  • Quake-style terminal (Toggle / Untoggle by clicking one button (default: F12))
  • Unlimited scrollback (Useful to record console log (ex. picocom))
  • Easy to use the shortcuts to quickly create & switch between different terminal pane & tab.
  • Double-click to rename the window's tab name, which is helpful to distinguish your target.
However, it will take about 3xx mb storage to install it on ubuntu because it need KDE.
p.s. You can execute "gnome-session-properties" command to let it start up automatically whenever you turn on your PC.

very cool concept yeah as in drop down terminal. so much i cloned this functionality for an emacs frame through i3wm, so i can not only have a drop-down shell, but also anything that is able to run on Emacs like a text editor :p

Terminal on-demand with a hotkey. Can be customised to be transparent and fullscreen. Love it and been using for years.
