xPud is described as 'A Browser OS with an App Store - The desktop has never been this easy -- Get your favorite web browser with a simple web-based interface on top' and is a Linux Distro in the os & utilities category. There are more than 100 alternatives to xPud for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Windows, Self-Hosted, Mac and Raspberry Pi apps. The best xPud alternative is Linux Mint, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like xPud are Debian, Fedora, Manjaro Linux and openSUSE.

BeeFree OS is inspired from Ubuntu, Windows 7 and Linux Mint. The name is acronym for Beautiful, Effective, Efficient and Freedom.




ULinux is based on openSUSE, and is a free linux distribution with the aim of combining the DIY-approach of Arch with the setup of Ubuntu.

Freevo is an open source HTPC media centre software integrating PVR / DVR funtionality along with music, video, gaming, home automation and more. It is written in python and uses existing popular software such as mplayer, xine and vlc.



Enna is a Media Center application. Featuring a simple user interface, Enna is based on the powerful Enlightenment Foundations Libraries (EFL) as for its graphical user interface and GeeXboX libraries as for multimedia playback and information retrieval.
