ymarks is a two-component KISS bookmark synchronization service, it consists of a server component which you'll have to run anywhere and a client component which will have to be installed in your browser(s). Its name is a pun on the (now defunct) Xmarks service.

This extension indexes all your bookmark items once and updates its indexing database when a change occurs in your bookmark tree like a new bookmark being added, removed or modified. This database can then be used to find matching terms using the extension's popup window.
