I actually started using WebDrive back in the mid-1990's when I had to submit programming assignments to my college teacher via FTP. The usual FTP console did not work well with deleting multiple directories and was always difficult to set up in uploading and download my content.

Webdrive to the rescue, which with just one single setup gave me a network drive letter to work with instead of a clumsy ftp console platform. Everything was just like what you see in a Windows Explorer setup. Fast-forward to the year 2018 and I am still using it, this time to hook up to my cloud drives at Amazon, Google, and OneDrive.

I really like WebDrive, after trying another working with another tool for a few months, which got really slow. I'm using it mainly to connect with my Dropbox account. The speed makes it possible to integrate my cloud files just like having them on my desktop and through the integration with File explorer it becomes totally seamless. Just had a support question, and they responded within a few minutes. I was stunned, that has not happened before and prompted me to post a review here.

SharePoint mappings are more intuitive than standard WebDAV. Also allows me to retire a number separate apps like OneDrive, DropBox etc and just use WebDrive. Product just works...and support is excellent.

One of the first things I load up when getting a new PC.

I've used Webdrive since 2002, and never looked back. For website authoring it is unmatched, allowing me to seamlessly move/delete/change/save files on the fly. As Google drive became popular in my office environment, I have found Webdrive invaluable in quickly accessing and manipulating materials. The icing on the cake? When a question or need arises, Webdrive service provides a fast, accurate response with an actual live human that provides actual help.

I used this product with a client of mine who maintained multiple office locations and had a need to map to storage on their server in their mail office. VPN was not a viable option due to limitations on internet options at two of their offices. This product was the perfect solution.

I needed a way of accessing my WebDAV shares better and to have them as mapped drives is great and saves a lot of time, I did look into built in drive mapping with the built in windows feature but it's not very good and does not save your password so I have to log in each time I reboot and even the workaround does not work.

I did a bit of research and found WebDrive which I found to be great, easy to setup and just works so i can get on with my work.

I would recommend anyone that works with WebDAV shares shos use.

It's very easy to use to upload files to a SharePoint site and the support is quick and responsive. I've tried other programs and they were more difficult to configure.

A very useful behavior of webdrive is to provide "view remote files (and directories) as local". For windows webdrive provide a disk letter (as you want) for a remote file system. Accessing remote file system is done with differents protocols (ftp, webdav, sftp, ...).

Anyclient is a client for ftp (or webdav, ...) but it not provide a disk letter to "view remote files as local".

hope it help

We have been testing WebDrive and it is fantastic. We are able to have our staff use their native MS office suite without having to upgrade to Office 365 suite. Very easy to use and support is excellent.

The latest version has a 10 days trial and worked fine for webdav on my local network. However, I will change in for something free. Don't feel like paying for a generic webdav server.
