    Gab

Gab is an ad-free social network dedicated to free speech. Gab is built for creators and people like you.

    Freemium Web Android

    • GAB does not censor free speech, but instead allows users to mute users/ content themselves. Superior to corporate censorship. Guest • Mar 2017 • 9 agrees and 2 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • Larger character limit and no corporate censorship. Guest • Mar 2017 • 5 agrees and 2 disagrees Disagree   Agree

    • Better overall design and freedom from censors. Guest • Mar 2017 • 3 agrees and 2 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • Twitter probably has a better UI, but you can't be a part of twitter unless you're a converged SJW. Freedom of speech reigns supreme on Gab. If it's legal it stays. Guest • Mar 2017 • 3 agrees and 2 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • The experience is entirely up to the user. If one does not want to see certain content, hear from certain people, or avoid topics, it is all up to them to mold that experience, not some nebulous group of people. Guest • Mar 2017 • 2 agrees and 2 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • GAB does not engage in any censorship. It is a beacon of free speech. iceblockApr 2017 • 3 agrees and 3 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • Trusted platform that does not ban people for offensive speech... speak freely is their motto. No Ads, and you can freely speak your mind without fear of being suspended, and without bias developers controlling statistics. As long as you follow the few simple guidelines that prevent bots, parody sites, and fake account abuse, you can speak freely without retribution. trobergeApr 2017 • 2 agrees and 2 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • Gab is for micro-blogging, like Twitter, but free speech oriented. getterdonApr 2017 • 1 agrees and 2 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • GAB supports and stands for free speech. It is increasingly becoming a very lonely company in that regard. GAB is the future. Silicon Valley censors are the past. aquinasjohnpaulMar 2017 • 2 agrees and 3 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • Longer posts (300 characters). Not SJW-converged. Guest • Mar 2017 • 2 agrees and 3 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • The 250 character limit allows for more thoughtful engagement. The quote gabs feature makes it easier to connect complex content. The free speech ethic draws creative and original thinkers. Interestingly, it also draws a nicer and more polite group of users. Guest • Jun 2017 • 0 agrees and 2 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • no censorship! better community than mastodon. Guest • Jul 2017 • 0 agrees and 2 disagrees Disagree   Agree

    • I can do everything on Minds I can do on Twitter with no censorship! MindMunitionMar 2017 • 5 agrees and 0 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • Minds is a good alternative to Twitter because it doesn't have the baggage that comes with Twitter's many moderation issues. Minds has a much better transparant policy in which the things you post are actually visible to other people. Minds is hands down the best one-on-one alternative to Twitter's functions without the amateurish censoring of dissenting opinion. stefandekkersMar 2017 • 4 agrees and 0 disagrees Disagree   Agree

    • No censorship, free speech, no interfering governments. It's still beta, but functional. And it's growing fast. Guest • Apr 2017 • 2 agrees and 0 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • No censorship, no constant adverts from corporate scum, no SJW agenda, no agenda at all in fact, fantastic community, a lot of civil discourse. zombienomiconbroadcastingApr 2017 • 1 agrees and 0 disagrees Disagree   Agree

    Mastodon

Mastodon is a decentralized microblogging engine, an alternative implementation of the Gnu Social project. FEATURES - Free and open-source.

    Free Open Source Web Self-Hosted

    • It's very much like Twitter with a character limit of 500, except there's not *one* website you have to trust, but you can choose the mastodon server ("instance") that you trust and they are linked, so you can follow people from other instances. The instances all have their own rules, so you can pick a place with as few or many rules as you are comfortable with. mrmblMay 2017 • 1 agrees and 0 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • So far it is the most 'twitter' like from the others mentioned while also having a nice sleek UI. However it has a lot of strict rules about what i okay to post and what's not. Other than that it seems decent godisinthewindApr 2017 • 1 agrees and 1 disagrees Disagree   Agree
