Really well done app! You can custom any board with custom fields, formulas... You can even work with your teammates on a same board and each one can set a custom view (kanban, list, table...) with filters and all! Very customizable compared to Trello

padszabo Zenkit is a really strong, but simple tool to manage project work in a team. It's built in a way, that makes it easily usable and understandable, even if you are using it for the first time. We are using Zenkit to coordinate our efforts in a small team - and it makes it very easy, to assign tasks, lets you easily keep track of the progress made and never lose sight of what tasks are still open. Definately recommended !

Open source. Perhaps the only real alternative for Trello in this segment. They have nice comparison page against Trello http://restya.com/board/comparison

kribbremath Still in active development, has a lot of installation options, but have no packaged version for most common Linux systems, like Debian or Debian-based distros (Ubuntu), RedHat/Centos or derived distros. I mean It's not boxed yet, installation with shell script is really ugly now, in 21th century. Default color scheme is pink and in version I installed it's real pain to modify it to something more comfortable and convinient.

Almost everyone thinks Quire is a great alternative to Trello.
johnduffield Provides an alternative way to organise and view tasks and activities. The hierarchical lists, ease of assignment and tagging provide a nice way to slice work and information a different way. Task based lists can be easier when working with client areas who understand task driven activity easier then story based. The tree structure allows for a more logical break down.

jellopopcorn Trello lacks a place to dump all the ideas and organize them later. what I mean is like a task list view. Quire(https://quire.io) has a task list view. my team and I can dump all our ideas and tasks in the list and later on move the crucial ones to board view for execution. Yep, that's right! Quire has Kanban board too! which is awesome and a win win situation! I really recommend Quire to the small creative teams out there, it can really improve the productivity!

dspjm This is so powerful. It combines task lists and kanban. Though not strictly a congruent substitute for Trello. It might even be better for some people.

guerindlc Trello needs a lot of power-ups to be almost as efficient as Clickup. Clickup offers a way clearer architecture / organisation of projects/topics/tasks. Clickup's both UI and UX are way up ahead. I also like how Clickup offers multiple views to find or organize tasks and to-do lists.

Trello is more intuitive and simple to use than OpenProject. Plus you do not have the same list structure as on Trello. I got lost alot on OpenProject while searching for a task.
