    Hierarchical organization, imports treepad files (.hjt), so I am able to work immediately with my treepad files.

  2. Zim brings the concept of a wiki to your desktop. Store information, link pages and edit with WYSISYG markup or directly typing some lightweight markup syntax and see it previewed as-you-type.

    I actually moved from TreePad to Tiddlywiki looking for more customisability and industry standards. However I Still value TreePad although not using it, it was my gateway to self designer Get things done system.
