With my HTC P6500 smartphone with "Windows Mobile 6 prof." I was successful with OCR text recognition from a picture of a business card with built in camera of the windows mobile smartphone, although the picture quality was not very good and too dark. At the first attempt I forgot to turn the picture 90°. The direction of the text must be the same as the direction of the text of the buttons of TopOCR application. Then it works quite good. It would be recommendable to improve the picture quality befor starting the text-recognition process. I will look for a picture editing and improvement application for "Windows Mobile".
