Tabli Reviews

Tabli is optimal when you usually have multiple browser windows open, each with multiple tabs, for example:

  • Youtube
    • video 1
    • video 2
    • video 3
  • Work
    • work email
    • client project page

It lets you give names to each open window, and close and easily restore them.

Very good approach (in my eyes), thank you!

as of June 2019, I am missing these features:

  • there is no fast way to replace the saved state of a window with the current state; one has to manually click through, saving each change, or to delete the saved window state, and save it a-new. see the respective issue.
  • chosen window title is not shown in the title-bar in the Brave browser

The good
• Open source. If you are not familiar with "open source", it means this app is more secure. Because its code is publicly available for review and contributions on GitHub at https://github.com/antonycourtney/tabli
• Attractive MIT License at https://github.com/antonycourtney/tabli/blob/master/LICENSE
• Search tabs in all windows. From the search result easily open any tab.
• Revert your saved window back to its saved state.
• Keyboard shortcuts
• When a Saved Window is closed and re-opened, Tabli will restore all previously open tabs in that window. This works even after re-starting Chrome or if Chrome crashes.

The bad
• Tabli is presently not able to save all presently opened windows and all their tabs at once. You're still able to save all of them. But to do so you need to check each window one by one. This can be slow and time consuming if you have a large amount of windows opened at once. Such as 20+.
