Stashpad Lists is the note-taking app designed for your working memory. Get your thoughts out, organize them effortlessly, and return to them when you’re ready.
Capture
Designed for those messy, in-progress moments where important thoughts and ideas come quick and need to be captured just as quickly. Simply write your note, save it, and get back to work.
Compartmentalize
Organize your ideas the way you want without wasting time. Sort your notes into stashes based around projects, people, or whatever serves you best.
Return
No more digging through old notes to find that flash of brilliance. Start a search with a single keyboard shortcut and use filters to find things even more quickly.
No account is required. Magic links are sent to your email à la Stych.
The app supports uploading images but not files. The images are placed at the end of each note and in a horizontal row. You can tap on each each image to expand them.
All content is available offline once loaded on to your device. Data is encrypted locally.
You can disable the cloud syncing feature but switching it is buggy so make sure to back up your notes elsewhere first before making the choice.
This app might be your sole-notetaking app thanks to its simplicity (especially on mobile) and easy of retrieving information, or it might be a complementary app to Notion, Obsidian, Proton Docs, etc. Think of it as a scratchpad that you can routinely empty out that frees you from relying on the cumbersome UI and UX of project and knowledge management apps. It's the easiest app to commit to because it fits around how you work instead of forcing you to develop new habits or set time aside to organize things, and all without any buzzwordy-AI features (for now).
Development for this app has currently been paused with a focus on Stashpad Docs, but I hope by sharing this it will pick up in popularity so it doesn't go away.
You can start today with 50 free notes. Write things and export them into another app and if you find yourself at home consider subscribing.
