luckyshot As of today, Figma is my go to when I don't have Sketch available and the UI and everything is very similar. It also lets you import .sketch files. Only drawback is bitmap editing which is limited right now.

This alternative is disputed. Photopea is still a legitimate alternative to Sketch, but it might have issues that some users think are important.
    5. Vectr is a free graphics editor. Vectr is collaborative like Google Docs, and runs both in your web browser and on your desktop as a native app. With an intuitive interface, Vectr is easy to learn and use.

Most users think Vectr is a great alternative to Sketch.
arindambasu Vectr is free, (there is a paid option but they are very generous to offer free tiers), and excellent. Small footprint but you can do everything. My only gripe is they do not let you add arrows as in a vector drawing programme, but that's a non-issue, as you can add arrows in other ways. It's a beautiful programme, I strongly support this.
