ADVANCED Codecs for Windows 7 and 8 Reviews

It stealthily installs 2 browser toolbars

Back when Windows 7 was in beta, this was the only codec pack that worked for me. Now, I have no reason to use it, and refuse to do so because as of v.283 (and possibly sometime prior), it stealthily installs two browser toolbars: Ask and Bing. Combined Community Codec Pack may have an older release date than Shark007 (which is oddly updated at least once per week.. why?), but CCCP supports everything I've thrown at it without the bundled junk.

Usually codec packs will f*ck your system some day. Too many codecs, too many problems. Windows 7 Codecs are the only pack you gonna need and it wont mess your Windows. I have using since sharks vista pack without any problems. Easy to use and install. Just click and install and start watch some vids.
