      It only can read PDFs. Preview can reorder as well as add/delete pages among other things.

      Evince has very little of the functionality of Preview. It doesn't do well with PDF forms, and it doesn't have any of the drawing tools. It doesn't handle common image formats such as jpg, png at all.
