Patreon will ban you from their services if you post anything that violates their TOS anywhere on the Internet. This is not only insane but a clear violation of their own TOS. Go with a service that is not ideologically driven like subscribestar.

They will ban you even if you don't violate their TOS.
All is takes is speaking against ideologies that some people in their committees have.

I joined Patreon early, when it was quite new. At some point I discovered they had used my email to send out invites to people I knew, without my approval. I could not trust the site after that so deleted my account and even though I think it is a great idea, I am unlikely to try them again.

Some people are doing great with Patreon, but if you don't already have a following/ aren't already popular, there isn't much point in joining. Your account just stays very quiet. I did not find much real help or inspiration in how to get any farther with the service. However, if you are popular already, Patreon is a good service to get people to sponsor you.

True fact! Most of our sponsors don't like to go for a monthly subscription. You should try buymeacoffee.com. it is a one-time donation site. Many of my Tumblr mates are getting good supports.
